Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A Still Life With Asters And Fruit by Raoul Martinez. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 900.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 960.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Raoul Martinez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waalseilandgracht in October 2003 with an auction result of EUR 4,780.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With Asters And Fruit von Raoul Martinez zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 900,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 960,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raoul Martinez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waalseilandgracht im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.780,00.
