Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kanne by Raoul Hynckes was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2001. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,820.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Hynckes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A still life with apples and a lemon in a bowl in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kanne von Raoul Hynckes wurde im September 2001 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.820,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Hynckes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A still life with apples and a lemon in a bowl im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
