Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Belgian Stilleven Met Witte Doos, Pijp En Schelpen by Raoul Hynckes was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 11,650.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raoul Hynckes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A still life with apples and a lemon in a bowl, which sold at auction in December 2006 for EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Belgian Stilleven Met Witte Doos, Pijp En Schelpen von Raoul Hynckes kam im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.650,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Raoul Hynckes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A still life with apples and a lemon in a bowl beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für EUR 42.000,00 versteigert wurde.
