The price achieved of USD 403,200.00 (€ 390,584.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raoul Dufy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
