Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Spanish clotilde, Marquessa De Acricollar changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,033.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pierrette in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 281,000.00 (€ 331,133.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta konnte im Dezember 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Spanish clotilde, Marquessa De Acricollar für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.033,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pierrette im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 281.000,00 (€ 331.133,63).
