Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work A Young Beauty changed hands for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,096.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pierrette in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 281,000.00 (€ 331,133.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
