Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Spanish Portrait Of Mrs. Clotilde De Cándamo And Her Son Carlos by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,955.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pierrette in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 281,000.00 (€ 331,133.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish Portrait Of Mrs. Clotilde De Cándamo And Her Son Carlos von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.955,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pierrette im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 281.000,00 (€ 331.133,63).
