Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Highlanders by Raffi Kalenderian was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in February 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,833.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Raffi Kalenderian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September last year the work Dasha (Plants) was auctioned for USD 27,720.00 (€ 28,334.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Highlanders von Raffi Kalenderian wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.833,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Raffi Kalenderian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September letzten Jahres die Arbeit Dasha (Plants) für USD 27.720,00 (€ 28.334,87) versteigert.
