This artwork by Raffi Kalenderian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery auction, the work Spirit Guides and Sunflowers sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,952.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Raffi Kalenderian; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dasha (Plants) sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 28,334.87).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Raffi Kalenderian; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dasha (Plants) im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 28.334,87).
