This artwork by Raffaelle Mainella achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. In the European Noble and Private Collections auction, the work Nilo: a shepherd along the river Nile sold for EUR 2,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffaelle Mainella - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jerusalem, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,910.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raffaelle Mainella erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections wurde die Arbeit Nilo: a shepherd along the river Nile für EUR 2.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffaelle Mainella mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jerusalem beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.910,19) versteigert wurde.
