Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work Fishing for shrimp; and Gondolieri on the lagoon, Venice by Raffaelle Mainella. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,161.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raffaelle Mainella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jerusalem in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,910.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing for shrimp; and Gondolieri on the lagoon, Venice von Raffaelle Mainella zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.161,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raffaelle Mainella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jerusalem im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.910,19).
