Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The little Neapolitan by Raffaele Tafuri was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Christies in London in July 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,607.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Raffaele Tafuri have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2000 the work Venetian vista was auctioned for USD 14,100.00 (€ 16,615.60).
