It achieved a price of EUR 2,852.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffaelle Mainella - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jerusalem, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,910.19).

Die Arbeit Corteggiamento a riva von Raffaelle Mainella wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.852,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffaelle Mainella mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jerusalem beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.910,19) versteigert wurde.
