Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Anocheciendo by Rafa Macarrón was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,266.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafa Macarrón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Matilda in April last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 487,498.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Anocheciendo von Rafa Macarrón wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 39.266,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafa Macarrón erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Matilda im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 487.498,15).
