Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by R. Mulders could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, auction, the work Unloading the catch, figures on a beach at low tide; and another similar changed hands for GBP 180.00 (€ 261.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Admittedly, works by R. Mulders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unloading the catch in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 763.75 (€ 1,096.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von R. Mulders konnte im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, wechselte die Arbeit Unloading the catch, figures on a beach at low tide; and another similar für GBP 180,00 (€ 261,09) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von R. Mulders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unloading the catch im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 763,75 (€ 1.096,37).
