Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Unloading the catch; and Another similar by R. Mulders. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 360.00 (€ 522.18), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by R. Mulders - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unloading the catch, which sold at auction in November 2003 for GBP 763.75 (€ 1,096.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unloading the catch; and Another similar von R. Mulders zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 522,18) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von R. Mulders mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unloading the catch beobachtet, die im November 2003 für GBP 763,75 (€ 1.096,37) versteigert wurde.
