Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Seated nude by Rudolph Carl Gorman for USD 937.50 (€ 661.00). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolph Carl Gorman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work #1 in April this year with an auction result of USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,661.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seated nude von Rudolph Carl Gorman für USD 937,50 (€ 661,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolph Carl Gorman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit #1 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.661,68).
