Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Rc Gorman Pastel Drawing, "Lindsay'S Dream," 1987 by Rudolph Carl Gorman was sold in the Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,377.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolph Carl Gorman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work #1, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,661.68).

Die Arbeit An Rc Gorman Pastel Drawing, "Lindsay'S Dream," 1987 von Rudolph Carl Gorman wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.377,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rudolph Carl Gorman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit #1 beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.661,68) versteigert wurde.
