Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Red Rug Motif by Rudolph Carl Gorman for USD 1,375.00 (€ 969.47). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Rudolph Carl Gorman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work #1 in April this year with an auction result of USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,661.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Red Rug Motif von Rudolph Carl Gorman für USD 1.375,00 (€ 969,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rudolph Carl Gorman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit #1 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.661,68).
