Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Kitchen Interior With A Maid Peeling Turnips, A Woman Tending To A Baby And A Boy Warming His Hands By The Fire by Quiringh van Brekelenkam was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Quiringh van Brekelenkam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Lacemaker's School in January last year with an auction result of USD 453,600.00 (€ 404,566.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Kitchen Interior With A Maid Peeling Turnips, A Woman Tending To A Baby And A Boy Warming His Hands By The Fire von Quiringh van Brekelenkam kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion.
