In October this year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Xiao Lin(Painted In 2012) by Qin Qi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 360,000.00 (€ 43,535.20), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qin Qi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Beautiful Ride No. 1, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 164,345.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Xiao Lin(Painted In 2012) von Qin Qi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 360.000,00 (€ 43.535,20) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Qin Qi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Beautiful Ride No. 1 beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 164.345,17) versteigert wurde.
