Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Goose by Qin Qi was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 53,832.58). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qin Qi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Beautiful Ride No. 1, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 164,345.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Goose von Qin Qi wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 450.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 53.832,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Qin Qi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Beautiful Ride No. 1 beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 164.345,17) versteigert wurde.
