The work Flowers by Qian Shoutie was sold in the Takahashi Kouhou Collection auction at China Guardian in October 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,337.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Shoutie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Qian Shoutie wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection bei China Guardian versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.337,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Shoutie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
