This artwork by Qian Shoutie achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Waterfall And Pine Trees sold for HKD 26,400.00 (€ 26,959.57) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Qian Shoutie; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Shoutie erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Waterfall And Pine Trees für HKD 26.400,00 (€ 26.959,57) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00.
