Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Qian Shoutie. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,688.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Qian Shoutie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Qian Shoutie zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.688,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Shoutie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
