Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Qian Mu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,232.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Mu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 55,062.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Qian Mu kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.232,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Mu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 55.062,46).
