Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pomegranate, Lily, and Rock, 1903 by Qian Hui'an was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,609.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Hui'an achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 79,420.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pomegranate, Lily, and Rock, 1903 von Qian Hui'an kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.785,00 (€ 1.609,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Hui'an erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 79.420,66).
