A top price for Qian Hui'an
The work Figures by Qian Hui'an was worth HKD 860,000.00 (€ 79,420.66) to a buyer in October 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Figures the most expensive artwork by Qian Hui'an that we have observed at auctions so far.
