In December last year Bonhams held the auction Fine Asian Works of Art, which included the work Figures and Zodiac Album by Qian Hui'an. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,837.50 (€ 10,130.40), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Qian Hui'an have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 79,420.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Fine Asian Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures and Zodiac Album von Qian Hui'an zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.837,50 (€ 10.130,40) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Hui'an auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 79.420,66).
