Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Qian Gu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,624.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Gu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 500,000.00 (€ 426,693.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Qian Gu kam im März 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.624,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Gu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 500.000,00 (€ 426.693,98).
