Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dharma by Qian Gu was sold in the Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors auction at POLY in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 3,000.00 (€ 372.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Gu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 500,000.00 (€ 426,693.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dharma von Qian Gu wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.000,00 (€ 372,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Gu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 500.000,00 (€ 426.693,98).
