Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Consumer Icons No. 37 by Qi Zhilong. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,446.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Zhilong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Girl Series No.1 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,847,500.00 (€ 317,082.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Consumer Icons No. 37 von Qi Zhilong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.446,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhilong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Girl Series No.1 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.847.500,00 (€ 317.082,64).
