Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peaches by Qi Liangchi was sold in the Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in December 2020. The price achieved of AUD 3,075.00 (€ 2,514.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qi Liangchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Longevity Peach,Crabs And Shrimps, which sold at auction in October 2021 for HKD 57,600.00 (€ 6,407.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peaches von Qi Liangchi wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 3.075,00 (€ 2.514,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qi Liangchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Longevity Peach,Crabs And Shrimps beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für HKD 57.600,00 (€ 6.407,20) versteigert wurde.
