Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus And Pigeon by Qi Liangchi was auctioned at POLY in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 3,600.00 (€ 422.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Liangchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Longevity Peach,Crabs And Shrimps in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 6,407.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus And Pigeon von Qi Liangchi kam im November diesen Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600,00 (€ 422,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Liangchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Longevity Peach,Crabs And Shrimps im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 6.407,20).
