Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III, which included the work Crabs And Shrimps by Qi Liangchi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 704.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Qi Liangchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Longevity Peach,Crabs And Shrimps in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 6,407.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crabs And Shrimps von Qi Liangchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 704,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qi Liangchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Longevity Peach,Crabs And Shrimps im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 6.407,20).
