Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sang Pemimpi (The Dreamer) by Putu Sutawijaya was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Putu Sutawijaya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Candi Brahu, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 740,000.00 (€ 77,088.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sang Pemimpi (The Dreamer) von Putu Sutawijaya kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.024,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Putu Sutawijaya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Candi Brahu beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 740.000,00 (€ 77.088,32) versteigert wurde.
