Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Penuh Putaran (Purnama) (Full Circle) (Full Moon) by Putu Sutawijaya was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,529.33). Admittedly, works by Putu Sutawijaya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Candi Brahu in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 77,088.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Penuh Putaran (Purnama) (Full Circle) (Full Moon) von Putu Sutawijaya kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.529,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Putu Sutawijaya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Candi Brahu im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 77.088,32).
