Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pure Evil achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2020. In the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction, the work Andy Warhol'S Nightmare. My Whole Life Is Bullshit sold for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,207.90) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pure Evil - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre - 2015, which sold at auction in May 2015 for EUR 8,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pure Evil erzielte im April 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong wurde die Arbeit Andy Warhol'S Nightmare. My Whole Life Is Bullshit für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.207,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pure Evil mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2015 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für EUR 8.000,00 versteigert wurde.
