Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban Art, which included the work Andy Warhol - Valérie Solanas Nightmare - 2018 by Pure Evil. The price achieved of EUR 2,990.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pure Evil - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre - 2015, which sold at auction in May 2015 for EUR 8,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Andy Warhol - Valérie Solanas Nightmare - 2018 von Pure Evil zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.990,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pure Evil mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2015 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für EUR 8.000,00 versteigert wurde.
