The work He Told Me He Was A Graffiti Writer.. But He Was Just A Street Artist by Pure Evil was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in September 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 11,340.00 (€ 1,248.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Pure Evil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 2015 in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,000.00.

Die Arbeit He Told Me He Was A Graffiti Writer.. But He Was Just A Street Artist von Pure Evil wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 11.340,00 (€ 1.248,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pure Evil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2015 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.000,00.
