Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scholar Appreciating Plum Blossoms by Pu Jin was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,162.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Literary Gathering In Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scholar Appreciating Plum Blossoms von Pu Jin wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.162,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Literary Gathering In Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46).
