This artwork by Pu Jin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Playing Music In The Mountains sold for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 57,520.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pu Jin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Literary Gathering In Garden, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Jin erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Playing Music In The Mountains für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 57.520,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pu Jin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Literary Gathering In Garden beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46) versteigert wurde.
