This artwork by Pu Jin achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 16,520.00 (€ 1,909.41) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Literary Gathering In Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Jin erzielte im Mai 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 16.520,00 (€ 1.909,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Literary Gathering In Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46).
