This work without title by Prosanto Roy was sold in the SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES AND 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in Singapore in April 2001. The »bidding war« ended at SGD 12,925.00 (€ 7,997.65), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Prosanto Roy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Princess of Fairyland), which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,334.70).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Prosanto Roy wurde im April 2001 in der Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES AND 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES bei Christies in Singapur versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SGD 12.925,00 (€ 7.997,65) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Prosanto Roy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Princess of Fairyland) beobachtet, die im September 2020 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.334,70) versteigert wurde.
