This artwork by Prosanto Roy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2020. In the A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection Online auction, the work Untitled (Arabian Nights) sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,734.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Prosanto Roy; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Princess of Fairyland) sold at auction in September 2020 with the realized price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,334.70).
