Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning 06 by Pouran Jinchi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,823.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pouran Jinchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alef series in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 54,013.56).

Die Arbeit Morning 06 von Pouran Jinchi wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.823,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pouran Jinchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alef series im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 54.013,56).
