Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled 1 (From The Derakht Series) by Pouran Jinchi was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 24,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,469.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pouran Jinchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alef series, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 68,500.00 (€ 54,013.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled 1 (From The Derakht Series) von Pouran Jinchi kam im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 18.000,00 – 24.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.469,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pouran Jinchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alef series beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 68.500,00 (€ 54.013,56) versteigert wurde.
