Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Scenery with an young woman watering the cows at the lake by Poul Steffensen for DKK 5,000.00 (€ 4,369.87). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Poul Steffensen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2002 by the work Feeding the geese at GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,994.12).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Poul Steffensen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2002 die Arbeit Feeding the geese mit GBP 3.055,00 (€ 4.994,12).
