Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blackcap by Polly Morgan was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2012. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,662.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Polly Morgan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Systemic Inflammation in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,015.37).
