Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Birth (Pink) by Polly Morgan for GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,340.03). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Polly Morgan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Systemic Inflammation in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,015.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Birth (Pink) von Polly Morgan für GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.340,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Polly Morgan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Systemic Inflammation im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.015,37).
